Eunice Lee - ABCs of Typography

Comments

  1. I really appreciate the charming and funny "anatomy report" — playful with important information using a common cultural idea of detective investigation. The fingerprint-ish pattern is funny as well. try to make sure that the typography size is uniform with similar information from one page to the next: that is, all "anatomy reports" should be the same size. Some are a bit busy. "J" is really strong, in that it is clean and playful at the same time. Make sure you are presenting the correct info: for instance, mid-line does not appear to be on the mid-line in the illustration. Great job.

  2. I really enjoy this concept and think that it kind of calls to Saul Bass' designs and is really simple but really fun and interesting to look at.

  3. These are really cool and creative!! I really enjoy looking at each one and reading their anatomy reports. I like that you played with patterns to draw attention to anatomy of the letter, this works really well.

  4. Eunice,

Your concept remains concise, yet still maintains the intrigue and playfulness of your concept. I really enjoyed looking through your designs. Seeing these definitely opens my eyes towards the goal I need to reach in terms of clarity and conciseness over visual aesthetic in terms of my project.
