When I first went about designing this spread I knew I wanted it to be very sleek and easy to look at. I wanted to incorporate colors that were inviting and not too overwhelming. I based the colors off of the photo that I found. They are very warm toned and I worry that it looks too feminine and not appropriate for a text book. Again I wanted to keep the pages very clean so I blocked off the text to do so. I haven't yet found a grid that I am happy with. I think there is too much blank space on the pages. I also am not yet fond of my timeline. I'm struggling with coming up with a design that works while overlapping the photo.
