Alina Rudnick - Final Textbook Remix

I started kind of nervously with this project but over time I felt like I was starting to get the grasp of formatting and hierarchy more. This was definitely a growing experience for me and I enjoyed this project a lot more than I thought I would. I changed quite a bit again since last time. I made the browns darker like suggested as well as changing the color of the play icon to make it stand out more. I tried to saturate the reds more, however, I still tried to keep it fairly minimal so that the text would still be legible, I closed some of the spacing on the gutter in the opener, as well as made the rules around the sections smaller. I tried to play around with the saturation of the timeline to give it a bit of a different palette as well as added the white squares to further emphasize USA vs WORLD. I also moved over the numbers in the "sections" in order to make the all line up at relatively the same area.

I changed some of the headings or bigger text to be a different color and slightly bigger size so that they would stand out more, as well as changed the font and rules on the vocabulary list to make things more orderly.

I added the minute changes I made to my tablet and phone pieces, they stayed the same for a majority of the pieces, the last phone spread feels a little crowded to me so I'm not sure if I should omit some of the sections or shrink them down but otherwise I am happy with how they and the tablet versions turned out to look.

  1. I truly think you excelled in this project. I think you did very well with it from the start but this project was very impressive as a whole. I think you showed your skills and kept a consistent theme on every page. It is really fun to look at and easy to understand. I think that on the mobile slides, you do not need the full paragraphs to be bold, that was the only thing that felt uncomfortable/ harder to ready. I think your color scheme works. Yours was definitely one of the projects that inspired me.
